Let's face it. This stock isn't going anywhere and Eric Schmidt apparantly is...at least that's what the street seems to think right now. A glowing front page lead article in Barron's gave the stock a four point boost a few weeks ago and that was it. Another glowing article in The Economist made the stock go DOWN...why? Because they mentioned the rumor that Schmidt may go to Hewlett Packard. If this company goes up or down on the strength of one man then the company is in a lot of trouble. Everyone talks about Novell's superior products. But remember that Apple and Netscape and others had superior products too and Microsoft caught up with them and surpassed them. Dream on. So far Microsoft has won the day much to my regret. Every company I invested in was chased and defeated by Microsoft. One of these days I'll learn my lesson and buy Microsoft. Instead of trying to invest in the "next" Microsoft maybe I'll just go to the current one.
