Tang I have the answer because I have a very good memory. Mr smart announced he had covered 1/2 of his short position from $149 to $145 after the market closed. AOL closed that same day up a few dollars and was at the $152 level..........it never dropped below that again and we are now at $170 which means smart lost.

Todays best place to cover was $162 3/4 or for a loss of $13.75 per share covered as his best possible scenario. Worst case scenario was he covered at todays high of $175 1/2 for a loss of $26.50 per share.

The day he covered the low was around $145 so he made $4 per share on 1/2 his position and lost up to $26.50 per share on the other 1/2.

Bottom line Smart is now going long trying to recoup his bloody short position.

Ps: I'll go dig out his posts if I have to along with historical pricing.<g>
