"online check register would be automatically updated?...It would be so simple to create, nothing more than a customized notepad" I can't begin to tell how difficult this is to implement. It is a resource intensive application ie broadband, CPU, storage, ect S1 has had that as a feature for a long time but almost no bank offers it and the ones that do have very few users because it is so ssllooww! Companies like HFN have looked at that for a long time as well (years) but it is just too much to do right now. Hopefully somebody will come up with a good one someday (maybe the company I work for <g>) but not today.
