Well I'm not sure exactly what stance you are asking me to define. Do I think AMD can afford to sit around and do nothing. No. Do I think they have to run full speed ahead with their eyes closed all the time. No. Do I think AMD's management is a joke.. YES. Do I think AMD could be a serious competitor to Intel (read a profitable one) with different/mature management HELL YES.

AMD's problem isn't technology.. it's management. Management that has doomed them from the get go.
