Well, Chuck Cheney just returned my call. A few things.

First, I was right in my assumption that we won't hear anything from the SEC or the company once the SEC has responded to the S1. The next official thing we would hear would be the S1A or the offering itself.
Second, I asked about the debt-free issue. He mentioned that is was down to a few hundred thousand (one customer is withholding payment or something), so that goal has pretty much been met and this is a huge plus.

Now here is the interesting part; I asked him if they would make a statement about the debt-free issue, and he said "no". That there would be other announcements being made and that they might mention the debt-free thing in an announcement afterwards. I took that to mean that we will be getting an annoncement from them very soon (this is my interpretation everyone). Actually, I think he did use the words very soon, when referring to it himself. And it sounded like it would be the actual details, not an S1A, so that would jibe with what crimson mentioned.

My take is that he was extremely upbeat, and forthcoming. I'm really glad I had that conversation with him because I was thinking about writing some covered calls tomorrow. But now, NO WAY. I think we might hear something this week!!! Again, my interpretation only.

Best of luck everyone!!!

Kaiser
