well it's about time! pixr up almost 30%, today, so far!! === Monday February 24 4:40 AM EST Disney ( Walt Disney Co ), Pixar( Pixar ) pact expected - NYT NEW YORK, Feb 24 (Reuter) - Pixar Animation Studios has been negotiating to lift the share of its profits on the movies it makes with Walt Disney Co , and a deal could be announced this week, the New York Times said Monday. The report said Pixar is seeking to raise its profits from the 10 to 15 percent that it now gets to roughly three times that level. Pixar worked with Disney on the "Toy Story" animated film, which is expected to generate total profits of $400 million in box office, video and merchandising sales since its release in 1995, the report said. Early Monday Disney released an advisory saying Chairman Michael Eisner and the company's animation president would make an announcement at 1400 EDT regarding Disney's animation business.
