Arthur, Your post on the fundamental side of Gold is an excellent example of why I trade mostly by the chart patterns. Although all you said may very well be correct and pose a resistance overhang on any Gold rally, that kind of analysis is beyond my limited intellectual capabilities. I can sometimes see patterns in the charts that seem to be somewhat predicitive of future, short-term price movement, at least predictive enough for me to make a living trading those patterns. Trying to factor in the macroeconomic factors just gives me headache, although admittedly, an occasional entertaining diversion. Allan P. Harris trendysystems.com
