OCG Technology Announces Completion of Windows Version of The PrimeCare System

NEW YORK, Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- 0CG Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: OCGT) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, PrimeCare Systems, Inc.("PSI"), has completed development of a Windows(R) 95 and Windows(R) NT ("Windows") version of its PrimeCare(TM) Patient Management System
("the PrimeCare(TM) System"). This Windows version has been undergoing beta site testing and is scheduled to be released shortly to the healthcare market.

PrimeCare's Windows version was developed in response to continual requests from potential users for an edition of the PrimeCare System that can operate in a Windows environment so that it would be compatible with the existing software and hardware in their facility. Although the software structure has been completely redesigned, the medical content of the PrimeCare System remains intact. This medical portion is the core of the PrimeCare System and reflects the
years of development and experience which went into the original PrimeCare System. The medical content of the PrimeCare System continues to be maintained and updated by the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. The new Windows version incorporates additional features which expand the administrative functions of the original PrimeCare System.

To date, demonstrations of the Windows edition to medical institutions have been very well received and have resulted in serious discussions for the installation of the PrimeCare System at these institutions. Based on this, management is cautiously optimistic that the ability to offer the Windows edition of the PrimeCare System will significantly increase revenues.

PSI's PrimeCare System enables physicians to improve the quality of patient care while reducing healthcare costs. The approach is centered on a patient-computer interactive system which records the patient's history via responses to simple "yes" or "no" onscreen queries. Through its use, the PrimeCare System provides the physician with the possible diagnoses of the patient's complaint and with expert physician medical reference material which may be viewed
onscreen or printed at the touch of a button. In addition, the PrimeCare System provides patients with printed educational materials concerning their disease and its management and prescribed medications, cross-checks for drug interactions, and prints out legible prescriptions to reduce pharmacy errors. The PrimeCare
System also automates the production of a complete patient record, replacing hand written or dictated records.

OCGT also manufactures and markets the Cardiointegraph, a patented device for the early detection of coronary heart disease in patients who have a normal resting electrocardiogram. In addition, it markets medical billing software to physicians and other healthcare providers.
