Thanks for your comments on DSPs, and thanks to Gary and Don as well. I have heard that there are barriers to entry in the DSP business simply because the designs are qualitatively different from most other semiconductor designs, and there simply aren't a large number of trained engineers. I have no knowledge of this subject. When you say that many large and small firms are adding DSPs to their bag of tricks, are you basing this statement on actual reports (public or private?) or on the assumption that this is another thing that companies will do with their money losing DRAM fabs?
