Maybe less than that. One psychiatrist I spoke with suggested that this was basically frustrated sex drive. We know that Clinton has an almost pathological sex drive. I understand that Hillary has cut him off (the term I heard used was "trial separation"). He is under such scrutiny now that he can't get another Monica. Basically, he has a body and mind that are used to regular sexual satisfaction and suddenly his testosterone has nowhere to go.

I don't know whether I agree or disagree, or whether I partially agree. It's not my theory, but is that of a quite competent and respected psychiatrist, and I understand has been the subject of quiet exchanges on boards like SI where shrinks hang out.

If true, in whole or part, it would explain a lot.
