SS, DELL is starting to run again folks -- 2 days in a row. The train is leaving the
station. IMHO, some of the momentum money from AOL and EMC is rotating back
into DELL.
Oh, OK, thanks for running over here from the we love Dell thread to tell us all this. Next time Dell is down and EMC is up, I'll be sure to return the favor.
EMC is a great stock and my relatives own it. Yet, my only storage play will
continue to be DELL !!
Does Dell have any IP (Intellectual Property) in the storage area, or do they do any R&D there, or do they just resell someone else's boxes? The answers are, I believe, no, no and yes. Their margins, therefore, will be non-existent in storage. Speaking of IP, what does Dell have going for it, in any part of their business, that differentiates them from any box maker? Again, I'll answer for you: none.
