Hey dude, and others

In the mid-80s the federal government through its Medicare program implemented something called the National Standard format for submission of medical insurance claims. Implementation of these and other related electronic data interchange (EDI) standards lead to the growth of a cottage industry surrounding the electronic submisssion of medical insurance claims. That industry is multi-billions $$ strong.

A natural evolution of this industry, which I do not believe is Cymedix core competency, would have some of these same companies move their electronic standards to the Internet. CLAI is one of several plays that is taking advantage of the current Internet IPO rage. Expect to see several more.
