SoundWorks International, Inc. has clearly stated that it will treat all shareholders of record as of the close of business on Thursday, February11, 1999 as the proper recipients of the stock dividend, irrespective of what happened on February 12, 1999 and later. If you did not get your shares from your broker because of the confusion over the ex-dividend date being February 12, 1998, SoundWorks will issue additional shares to those individuals who relied upon SoundWorks' stated position and sold shares on February 12, 1999.
To put in a claim for these additional shares, please send in your claim by fax to (206) 533-1156. Include the following information:
• a cover sheet of explanation;
• copies of buy confirms on February 10 or February 11, 1999;
• copies of sell confirms on February 12, 1999.
Transfer instructions will be given to issue the additional shares.
