Easy Internet Sharing
With an AnyPoint™ Home Network, those disputes are a thing of the past. The AnyPoint Home Network includes Intel's breakthrough Internet Sharing Software, which lets every PC on the home network access the Internet simultaneously. Everyone in your home can browse different sites on the web, download files, send e-mail – all at the same time, from their own connected PCs.
The AnyPoint Home Network not only makes Internet sharing possible, it makes it easy. The AnyPoint Internet Sharing Software handles the details that make traditional networks so complex. With the AnyPoint Home Network, any user can connect to the Internet just by launching their browser or other Internet application, right from their own connected PC. Users at any networked PC can see who else is using the shared Internet connection. Any PC can "hang up" a dial-up Internet connection, or you can chose to let only one designated PC hang up the connection.
The AnyPoint Home Network also makes using the Internet convenient and economical, since you can share access through one modem, one telephone line, and one Internet Service Provider (ISP) account. PCs on the home network can connect to the Internet through the PC with the fastest Internet connection.

The AnyPoint Home Network is compatible with the Internet access component of America Online** (AOL) and other major Internet Service Providers and Online Service Providers.
Broadband Internet Access
If you have broadband Internet access, for example, with a DSL or cable modem, or other broadband device, everyone using your home network can enjoy the benefits of faster web downloads and quicker file transfers. And it all happens at up to 1 Mbps (megabit-per-second), which is roughly 18 times faster than a 56 kbps modem.
If you have a UADSL modem (also called g.lite), you can even talk on the phone while the phone line is being used for broadband Internet access.
