Here is a piece of advice on shorting stocks, for whatever it's worth. Never, never short good management. They'll always surprise you on the upside. Short companies with mediocre management and high institutional holdings. When the institutions figure out it's time to go, then the stock REALLY goes! Shorting a well managed company like QUALCOMM merely endangers your ability to accumulate future profits, and makes those brokers happy collecting commissions.
