This sounds like they anticipate a stock runup sometime later this year and would then split the stock, probably 2:1. Given what they know about the status of the laptop Zip and n.hand--and nobody else knows--this is a bullish indicator. If I remember the last splits, IOM split when it was in the 40's. The number of authorized shares has to be increased before they could split and once the new shares are authorized, Kim Edwards and the Board can announce a split whenever (and if ever) it is warranted.
