Very astute observation that you make here. Yes, I agree that TA and price action reflect sentiment. However, I find that the TA indicators filter out much that is worthwhile to see from the price action of the stock.

Furthermore, the indicators themselves have their own patterns and behavior with respect to the price action of the stock that is worth noting but apparently much is *not* documented in this respect in your traditional TA textbook.

I heard much about using the put/call ratio as a measure of sentiment. How frequently is the put/call ratio updated? Where can I find this information?
