<My belief down the road is that Amazon will eventually fail. The real leaders are emerging.

They are:

AOL
DIS
YHOO
CNN ( I know many will argue this)
GE
MSFT>

These are good picks but it is way too early to tell how things will shape up. I expect there to be many new players that will be formed. Many new product marketing strategies will emerge. I see a need for new types of agencies that present products in very many ways. I deal with technical product marketing and I see that moving to the Internet - with very rich product information and applications multi-media. Want to set up a complex Intranet? Tune into Cisco or Dell.com. Want to learn all about the latest cars? Fishing boats? Exotic vacations? Want objective opinions from current customers? Want in-depth explanation about color quality, flaws, cuts, mountings, etc. of precious stones? Want to get on-line high-resolution magnified view with simultaneous link to an outside appraiser? All that stuff and lots more can be provided on the net.
