Cary,

I'm not a technician by any means but it does look similar
to LSI's bottom in summer '96 with very strong bounce back
from the low levels of 24.

I really don't see enough evidence to chalange the 50% growth
rate for Cascade. Fore and Cisco(Stratacom) were the ATM leaders
for years and NN were competing in Frame Relay for many years.
So I really don't see any new competition. Considering the 24
cents made last quarter or 96 cent annualy, 45 would be a fair
price for the growth rate.

I'm sure ISP's around the world will have to continue to invest
in infrastructure at a growing rate. The question is what about
all those global companies that may decide to hold on a bit.

On the down side, CSCC's A/R went up by $30M last quarter that
could mean channel staffing. NN winning last Frame Relay deal
could be significant and as the industry matures, smaller
players will find it harder to compete. Considering all that
I think CSCC is a good but not a great buy at current levels.
