Joseph:
> February 23, 1997 - February 23, 1998. That is the bet. Xecom > against any of your well known 10.00+ stock; dollar value to dollar > value.
I laughed so much my eyes started crying! Joseph, my friend, take it easy! If I wanted to bet, as I said before, I would go to Las Vegas. This statement of yours above goes to show that you are a gambler and not an investor! Why cant you make the distinction between the two?! I said putting $10,000 into XECM is the same as buying 10,000 California lottery tickets. Now your above statement is the same as saying: "Addi lets bet that one of these lottery tickets is the winning ticket". Well it may very well be! But I find that very naive to invest as if you buy a lottery ticket!! Please read my post# 375 again on this thread!
Joseph, lets go by logic and bring up the facts about XECM. Can you please post the following simple basic information about XECM and let everyone see them (you can get these from variety of sources such as Stock Smart web site, or Wall Street Journal, etc.)
1. Number of outstanding shares 2. Long term Debt 3. Short tem Debt 4. Assets 5. Available Cash 6. Price to Sales ratio for the past 3 years 7. Price to book value for the past 3 years 8. Expected 1997 P/E (and also 1998)
Also if you can provide the following so much not so basic info. such as: (You can check these out to some extend via: sec.gov)
9. Number of institutions holding the shares 10. Largest share owners 11. Insider holdings/selling/buying/etc.
And then we can do a little math and we will see if XECM is the undervalued company to become the next Microsoft, or if it is going to be the next Comparator Systems with all shares holders getting the BIG one!
I do not bet usually but if after posting the above numbers (your own numbers with documentation) you still feel you want to bet then with all means I will 'consider' that!

- Addi Jamshidi
P.S - It is ironic that the same broker that talked those friends of mine into buying XECM back in Oct/Nov. 1995 made a similar statement to me after talking to me and failing to convince me into buying xecm! He said Addi you are losing the opportunity of a life time to buy xecm at $3 1/8, because in 4 months XECM is going to be listed on Nasdaq National System and its price will be at least $9-$10/shr! Well this was back in Nov. 1995, I wounder what he really meant when he said 4 months! And now you are betting me that in a year XECM will do better (percentage wise on the initial investment) than for example US Robotics, or Intel?! Well hey, I also want to make money. So if you can prove to me (with facts and those Informiation I asked above to be provided) I will sell all my US Robotics and Sun Microsystems shares and put it in XECM (and believe me that would buy me at least 5 tons of xecm shares and I alone may cause a nice jump in the price of the stock!)!!! And then if the stock does even better I will sell all my holdings in every single other stock I have and put it in XECM!! The only problem is that I will keep pushing the price of XECM up myself and then I will be selling and buying to and from myself!!!
P.S 2 - And this is not meant just for Joseph. I still keep reading people on this thread have the illusion that some one is shorting XECM! TRUST ME, BELIEVE ME and if you dont then call your broker and ask if you can short XECM! NO ONE IS, NO ONCE CAN short XECM! I repeat XECM is not a stock that can be shorted!!
P.S 3 - If you have a choice of going to Las Vega (or Reno) and buying XECM I strongly recommend going to Las Vegas. The shows have improved greatly since 2 years ago (so I hear) and you get a lot of free drinks also!! |
