Art. I am not shorting Qcom for a long-term hold. That would be stupid given their current situation. My short was from a pure trading standpoint. I made 9pts and covered so it is done.
When ever you get a stock running straight up, it always pulls back. The theory is that if you bought something at 88 that is 150 a week and a half later, that is a huge return. Especially with a company of this size. So once they go parabolic like this, soon as people see it stop, fear takes over and shakes the stock. This has nothing to do with the fundamentals. It has happened to every great stock through history. So I have nothing but good things to say on Qcom. I just seem to be stuck in this thread answering questions and I can't get out unless I ignore people.
Good Luck
