Post # 1 :) 24-hour trading? I'll have to write some software so that I can submit my trades while I'm asleep :) Will the trading beyond the regular hours just be an extension of after hours - and if so is it likely to be thin as well? Alternatively, will those in Europe and Asia be able to trade directly on the North American exchanges 24 hours as well? If so trading will not likely be that thin. In some ways I prefer restricted trading hours - you know where you stand at the end of the day - and volume is compressed into the 7 1/2 hour trading day for most folks. This makes for a more liquid market. David.
