JMHO, but I don't think it would be a positive. Why would AOL want to get involved with the overhead (straight off the bottom-line) associated with owning local stations (14 major markets), lots of radio stations, and the ratings horrors that CBS has encountered. Seems to me that partnerships like the one in which they are involved with CBS offer more bang for fewer bucks. Wouldn't CBS have much more to gain from an outright purchase by AOL?
