Well, since Chip already blew "the pattern" I guess I can talk about the good news: Packard Bell OEM deal: usnews.com Packard Bell Stats: gartner12.gartnerweb.com Currently #5 on the list. Since 3dfx shipped about 6M in '98 (if memory serves) the additional possible 4M could be HUGE. Not to mention board revenues instead of just chip revenues. The only question I have is...can 3dfx support this kind of volume in addition to the retail demand? Pat P.S. Chip, I challenge you to a duel of half-life for breaking the pattern.
