CLINTON PUSHING EXPANSION OF THOUGHT CRIMES
Excerpts from Neal's Nuze by Neal Boortz

Right now the U.S. Justice Department can prosecute crimes – crimes that would ordinarily be state crimes – if the victim happens to come under some protected racial, color, religious or ethnic grouping. Now Clinton is pushing to have this so-called "hate crime" legislation expanded to include sexual orientation.

If he is successful than the only group in this country that will not have this special federal protection will be straight, protestant white males.

A murder is a murder, a rape is a rape, an assault is an assualt ---- regardless of which group of people the victim can claim membership in. Under these "hate crime" laws the crime is treated differently based on the identity of the victim. The concept of a "hate crime" is based on a presumption of the thought processes of the criminal. The assumption is made that the crime is committed because the criminal "hated" or harbored some similar thoughts toward the victim. This means that a "hate crime" is really a "thought crime."

If Clinton gets his way, a person attacking me could only be tried in a State court. If, however, I was gay, that person could be tried in a federal court. Now would someone please tell me how this squares with the idea of equal treatment under the law?

ARE WE REALLY READY FOR THIS?

The lead in the Washington Post story this morning reads:

"With remarkable speed, a consensus supporting the deployment of U.S. ground forces in Kosovo has formed in Washington, and a Washington Post – ABC News Poll shows a similarly dramatic shift in public opinion, with 55 percent of the public saying they would support such a change in policy."

In the meantime, expectations are growing that Slobby Milosevic will soon start a withdrawal of his troops from the Kosovo region and will signal a willingness to cease offensive military actions in return for a cessation of the NATO/US bombing. The nasty little secret here is that Milosevic has already achieved his goals. As far as the ethnic cleansing is concerned, Kosovo is getting cleaner by the minute. Most of the ethnic Albanians have been scattered .. and the remaining few should be gone in just a few days.

In other words. Milosevic has won. It's his victory. Clinton's air raids gave him all the cover he needed to accomplish his goals.

JOHN GLENN BURIED THIS ONE A YEAR AGO

It was a front page headline in the Sunday Los Angeles Times. In another era it would have gone through the media like a fire --- surely ending up on all of the network evening newscasts. But, it's not another era. It's the Clinton era.

The story is simple. The Chief of China's military intelligence evidently secretly directed funds from the communist government in Beijing directly into the campaign coffers of the Democratic Party and Bill Clinton's re-election effort. As it turns out, the story didn't make it any further than the LA Times. It didn't even hit the network newscasts.

You will remember that there were some hearings about this Chinese connection to the Democrats and the Clinton Campaign last year. You should also remember that the hearings were sabotaged – and effectively killed – largely through the efforts of just one U.S. Senator. That would be Ohio's John Glenn, who was then generously awarded a trip into space on the Shuttle.
