Although I agree with you that this is a bad guy-bad guy situation, your recollection of history is a bit tarnished. The KLA did not even exist prior to 1997. Problems began when Serbian police brutality in Kosovo culminated in Milo's retraction of Kosovo autonomy which had been granted by Tito. UN sanctions and condemnations bears this out. The record paints a picture that is the exact opposite of your recounting. Milosevich characteristically started the confrontation with ethnic Albanians, which even many sober Serbs I have spoken to will admit. The only crimes these people are guilty of is having children, being ethnic Albanians, and living in Kosovo, home of the glorious Serb slaughter (why this is something to be proud of, I havent figured out yet, although I imagine it speaks volumes to the Serbian nationalist mentality).
