I am one of those that think MSFT will "rule the world". I have been feeling this way for a while. Sun Microsystems, Oracle, IBM, Novell, Netscape(AOL) have just been complaining about MSFT a lot. I take that as a sign of worry about Microsoft's growth into their markets or causing hinderances for their own growth. The public statements by some are clear signals of serious concerns. I would not be surprised to see Microsoft so successfull in Window2k that it will blow away any analyst's expectations about its potential. In addition, SQL Server just keeps improving. IE is the only browser (don't think AOL will switch). I think MSFT is getting in the face of some of the big shots at these other companies.

Maybe I am just dreaming--MSFT will probably just rule in the sofware business.

BTW--I don't even have that much on the line in Microsoft options but I am still feeling this way.
