BTW, who the F is REALMAN?? Anyway, this yen/dollar/gold crap is just that, crap. Japan is screwed and the flow of dollars into their equities isn't going to affect us near term. This market will die a slow death months from now based on earnings, slowing economy, more layoffs, further slowdown of business spending, more personal bankruptcies, higher loan write-offs from banks and a $400 Billion trade deficit. Scheduled Tough love can only be accelerated by ???? (a) Alan raises rates (not gonna happen), (b) nuclear war, (c) Kosovo blowing up into an even greater mess, (d) bond market imploding (nah!)... Too late to start drinking..think I'll just bitch some more -gg-
