There is no fundamental rational reason for XIRC's fall from grace. XIRC is a great company and the Industry leader. I cannot accept XIRC's fall based on COMS problems or the rebates offered.
XIRC's fall is a signal of what will eventually occur to the Internet Stocks and Nifty 25. Money is coming out of great small caps like XIRC to support the S@P 500 and Internet stocks. Two thirds of all Nasdaq Stocks are in Severe Bear Markets. Mutual fund and pension fund Managers are selling their losers and unprofitable investments to enter into the few winners. An explanation like this will undoubtedly not satisfy some of you here. But there is no fundamental explanation for the 50% drop in price. At some point, the value players will come in to support the stock. At what level is hard to determine; for XIRC has a big institutional sponsorship and THEY are the ones Selling Big Time here.
