wallstreeter, I am a Canadian an I can tell you that my brokerage firm as well as 95% of all other one do not allow the general investor to short any otc-bb stock !! In order for someone to have that kind of leverage with a REAL broker (not online), they must have a HUGE portfolio. Usually, these types of investors rarely mess with penny stocks!!! I guess it could be done as I have heard many say BUT there ain't a whole bunch of people that can do it thus it shouldn't account for a big % of the day's volume!! CK
