One thing that I read lately would seem to be in PLC's favor. Apparently, PLC's laser is synchronized to shoot it's laser between heart beats. This is supposed to reduce the chance of the laser causing an irregular heart beat. ESTI's laser is not synchronized. ESTI does seem to be in a nice balance sheet position, with lots of cash and little debt. Revenue growth has been strong and R&D expenditures have increased substantially.
