yes. My full respect and admiration for Mory. For the vision
and the relentless execution.

I started becoming an ASND shareholder in August 1997,
just before the storm. My first purchase at $49 dwindled all the
way down to $22. Thanks to this thread, and especially Gary Korn
that provided at the time illuminated guidance throughout the worst months I
did not only NOT sell, but I kept buying and trading.

Gary helped me understand that there was nothing inherently wrong
with Ascend. The stock was just an easy prey of shorts
due to a lack of proper PR work.

When Ashby went on board the gotcha got fixed and the
stock started to fly.

Last night I went out of ASND in a profit taking move.
It was that very first batch I bought almost 2 years ago at $49
that went at 99 bucks. Superb move IMO.

Times are probably very different in this fast-changing world,
and ASND/LU is no longer on my priority list, not for the short
term at least. I still like the company very much and I would welcome
an opportunity to get back, although a conversation with a C$CO
senior engineer made me aware that ASND best people are
leaving. This may signal that the stock has, at this present levels,
seen its full potential and that the probability of further
gains may be more modest. Because I believe the market is
necessarily becoming very selective due to valuation factors
there are other companies (industries?) that give better
potential. Anyway I 'll be around on the thread as it's the
best way to stay abreast.
