august re where did i hear "the service improved once they
hired a bunch of people and upgraded system..."

i chat with amtd traders now & then. several months ago i
told a trader that whereas i used to speak with some of the
same traders fairly often, it now seemed that every time i
called i spoke with someone new.

he responded with the above.

august, for a while the hold times were down considerably
(i trade from work a couple times a day) but the hold is back
i don't think hold times are back because of system failures
or employee layoffs. i think it is due to ever increasing
volume.

i knew darn well they were gonna beat expectations because
of this last quarter. this time around, i'm gonna have
money riding on it.
