Please read my post #375 again! In there I stated that a stock like
XECM is shorted only by MMs and big investors that the brokerage
house loves so much! And your statement of 'trust me' because I
have done it, is sort of info. I am trying to find out for those good
friends of mine (again read my post #375 on this thread) who were
sucked into buying XECM back in 1995 by a crook broker. He was
probably shorting the stock himself and then finding suckers to sell
the shares to (2 of which he found!). Well Mr. Dave Perlow I assume
then that you are also either a broker or a Market maker of XECM
from your statement that you have shorted XECM. In that case may I
remind you of the new laws that went into effect for Nasdaq and OTC
pink sheet stocks. You may be liable for soliciting people to buy (or
sell) a stock that you are shorting (if you are a broker or a merket
maker of that same stock). However by reading your last statement of
" This comment is in no way an endorsement for or against Xecom" at
the end of your last comment you are 'legally at least' acting properly.
But I am still confused if you are really a broker or a market maker of
XECM?! From what you stated it seems like you are. But then dont
you have anything better to do (as a busy broker/MM) than reading
the SI web thread for XECM and placing comments?! I thought
MMs and brokers could not even scratch their heads for being so
busy all day (espcially during the time market is open)!

Anycase I have asked those friends of mine to contact the crook
broker who sold them the XECM shares and/or sue him and his
brokerage house. If I am not mistaking the new laws applied to
OTC and Nasdaq stocks can be applied to the prior years also.

P.S - Also your statement of : "I do not think that you belong on this
thread.". was kind of interesting to me! After all I am just a software
engineer and you seem to be a broker/Market Maker of XECM. If
correct I am pretty much sure you are then one who should not
participate on this thread because of the conflict of interest (please
refer to the latest rules that went into effect for Nasdaq)!

In any case I enjoy this thread for a case study and also fun!
