CrossKeys Names New President and CEO
KANATA, ONTARIO--The Board of Directors for CrossKeys Systems Corporation (NASDAQ: CKEY; TSE: CKY), a leading supplier of software for telecommunication service providers, today announced the appointment of Ian McLaren as CrossKeys new President and CEO. Mr. McLaren's appointment is expected to take effect in the first quarter of CrossKeys new fiscal year, which begins May 1, 1999. John Selwyn, the Company's founding President and CEO, will continue with CrossKeys as a member of the Board of Directors and as a senior advisor to Mr. McLaren.
Mr. McLaren brings exceptional business experience and market-focused leadership to CrossKeys. Mr. McLaren is currently President of Canadian, UK and International Operations with the computing and telecommunications company, MCI Systemhouse. In this capacity, he has had responsibility for revenue in excess of $1 billion and 5,000 employees. Overall, Mr. McLaren has almost 20 years of experience in the high technology and networking industry.

CrossKeys was founded by Mr. Selwyn in 1992 and he has led the Company's growth from a handful of founders to over 300 employees worldwide, and annual revenue for the last fiscal year of over $38 million.
