Jan ... nothing wrong with small amounts. I bought 50 shares of LU a long time ago - and it split twice - now have 200 shares. Also bought 50 shares of WCOM several times in the past year - it all adds up. Also bought 50 shares of DELL pre split - now have 100 And bought 50/60 shares of XMCM, LCOS, WEBT and SEEK. When they move - they move big. And your risk is limited. These are more for trades - but I have made $1000 on SEEK with 50 shares in the past, and I am up almost $1000 on my 60 shares of WEBT, and these I will sell either late tomorrow or Friday.
