I too have a cable modem and in the beginning it was to die for, but lately I've been looking forward to USRX 56k. I'm aware of the bandwidth "advantage" of cable but being put on a network with other users, as the users increase my speed has decreases dramaticly. I'm sure this problem could be fixed but lately, during peak hours, I can slow well below 28.8k and seldom get above 47k anymore. Faster is better, and if cable's not faster, their not better.
