CyberShop Signs Agreement With Go2Net Inc.

Company to be exclusive front page sponsor of Apparel Category

JERSEY CITY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 7, 1999--CyberShop® International, Inc. (Nasdaq: CYSP - news), a leading online retailer, today announced that it has entered into a strategic marketing agreement with Go2Net Inc. (Nasdaq: GNET - news), a network of branded, technology- and community-driven Web sites.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Company will become the exclusive front page sponsor of the Apparel Category on Go2Net's (www.go2net.com) WebMarket property and will be prominently positioned on the Shopping Channel home page. CyberShop (www.cybershop.com) will also be featured in highly targeted areas of the MetaCrawler search property through hyperlinks and banner advertising. In addition, Go2Net users will have easy access to CyberShop's designer and brand name product, in a variety of categories, at deep discounts of 20-80% off original prices every day, auctions, daily and weekly features, and promotional offerings.

''The Go2Net Network has rapidly become one of the Internet's most popular destinations by offering a strong mix of technology and community-driven content,'' said Jeff Tauber, CyberShop Chairman and CEO. ''We believe that our positioning on Go2Net will create awareness about our product assortment and enable us to quickly differentiate ourselves from the competition.''

This agreement follows the Company's recent announcements of a refocused merchandising strategy targeting the flourishing outlet store and off-price categories and of the Company's entry into the online auction arena both on its own site (auctions.cybershop.com) and in partnership with Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN - news) Auctions.com. CyberShop now offers designer and brand name product, in a variety of categories, including the addition of men's, women's, and children's apparel, at deep discounts of 20-80% off original prices every day. The Company continues to offer a range of other merchandise including housewares, electronics, toys, luggage, home office, jewelry and watches. The Company sells brand name, first-quality, end-of-season and excess merchandise from brands such as: August Silk, BCBG, Bisou Bisou, Braun, Calvin Klein, Carole Little, Cartier, Cusinart, Dansk, DeLonghi, DKNY, Dolce and Gabbana, Elizabeth, Fendi, Fila, Fubu, Jones NY, Krups, Laundry, Liz Claiborne, Movado, Polo Ralph Lauren, Pooh, Sharp, Tag Heuer, Versace, and XOXO.

''CyberShop's strong assortment of products, features, and promotional opportunities should be of interest to the Go2Net Network's growing base of users,'' said Russell C. Horowitz, Go2Net CEO. ''We're pleased to be working with them.''

This agreement with Go2Net marks the seventh significant strategic relationship CyberShop has established in the last year. In addition to its relationship with Go2Net, CyberShop also has existing marketing agreements with Yahoo! (Nasdaq: YHOO - news) Shopping, America Online (NYSE: AOL - news), Excite (Nasdaq: XCIT - news), Microsoft's (Nasdaq: MSFT - news) MSN Shopping, Amazon's Auctions.com and ''Shop The Web'' properties and E*Trade's (Nasdaq: EGRP - news) Shopping Center.
