Dushi, sort of true, MP3 is the ubiqitous one,the free one,the public domain one,that has been used for years. MP4 is a proprietary format that will guarantee record companies will get their money. It is a sham,to fool innocent people into believing it is the next step up in Mp3 format,its not.
Who were you talking to,someone that works for a large recording studio,or in a retail CD outlet? They have a reason to promote MP4,its their lives at stake. Do no be fooled by the propaganda,its a proprietary format to suck you back in. Read the articles just posted.
