The Diamond MM approach requires a PCI card to be inserted into the PC.

Intel's AnyPOINT provides a simple Parallel Port EXTERNAL connector to be used - MUCH PREFERABLE for the average user since opening up their computer and stuffing in a new card ISN'T REQUIRED.

Intel does provide an internal PCI version for those that want it.
