With US Robotics and others "proving" that phone lines can go above 35,000 bps (albeit by changing the archtecture of the system, yet they still did do it), I'm surprised IAS hasn't used the opportunity to promote DWM, or to examine the possibility of getting the phone companies to allow DWM to bypass all the stuff in the system which won't let it work.
