These periods of no news and the small size/float of the company
increases the volatility of this stock. I'll need to go back
to redo my valuation models to take this into consideration.

QLGC and BXM went through a similar situation a while back. Once
earnings came out, the stocks quickly bounced right back.
HS also went through a similar situation, but it turned out that
the rumors were true and it kept going down... HS got stuck
with lots of lawsuits though. I'm sure XIRC will also get stuck
with lawsuits if they fail to meet the earnings.
