Ed, that is one of the many things that baffle me, the electrolyte sopping up the metals, that could not be much of an issue, IMHO, the volume of the electrolyte is just not large enough to sop that much, it could give you an error of 10% of the value you have left in the "slime", if it is more, someone is doing something very wrong, or someone keeps selling Mike few bridges, and then I have to ask myself the old question, do they really know what they have?. When they ship a bag of slime, do they know how many tons were used for that specific bag?

Another small discrepancy was the note that Sabin needs a kilo or two of the slime to determine the best refining procedure. What has Sabin received so far? Few grams of the slime? No, something is fishy.

Let us do a little exercise her, let say we indeed have some 300 grams of goodies in a ton (about 10 ounces total), and let say we collected this into the slime (it will have to be into one shipment of slime to know what the whole ton had, am I wrong, furthermore a smelting campaign will be at least 500 to 1000 lbs, and I do not think they have smelting equipment for much less). The goodies' concentration in the slime is surely less than 10%, thus a ton results in 3 kg of slime (the solids only), so at worst each ton has to result in 3 kg of slime (probably much more if the goodies concentration in the slime is less than 10%), so why Sabin suddenly need batches of at least 2 Kgs?
