Oh yah! With the avgs trying to break into record territory. It is always a good idea to keep an eye on the stocks that are the weakest. Their immediate performance speaks volumes for the true direction of the market. It also cuts through the noise (deliberate) by the smart money. These divergences are designed to headfake the greater percentage of people. Anyway, two days ago I pointed out three major players (MRK, T, CMB) whose prices have been lagging. Believing that their prices had to break for this advance to have meaning. In two days their prices have:

Chase 78.31-84.88
AT&T 77.12-84.62
Mrk 77.75-80.25 (Just broke today)

A nice gain so far. But if we're about to break into record highs those prices of two days ago could represent significant bargains down the road.

The DOW also took-out the old highs on a intraday basis.

Good trading.
