Nihil - Treasury printing office and presses are at Alliance in Fort Worth, although the Fed is in charge. I did say that the money would begin appearing at the end of August. If you would read Greenspan's reports to congress and the banking committee's remarks, you will see signs all over the place. Just because it is not on the front page does not mean it does not exist.

Treasury does create policy in conjunction with FRS; please go to your local bank and pick up the little leaflets provided to customers telling them not to be worried - excess money is being printed now to meet expectations of the rush on the demand for dollars and cash beginning in the fall.

If they know it and the other little people - why don't you. My fantasy would be to scuba dive in the Pacific during the migration of the sperm whale. While not intended to excite you, nihil, it is much more a mental experience in which you should engage.
