Good point George...I don't really understand why this stock hasn't corrected, but if no one is interested in TRLK at these bargain basement prices, who will want it back at around $4 or $5. It could be that people are holding off and waiting to see what kind of reception ExpoLink gets down in Miami in April. Other than that I don't know what is holding this stock back. In previous posts I made references to the lack of accessibility exhibited by the officers and execs of this company. To me it demonstrates a lack of concern for their shareholder's value...One other thing that I find disturbing is that if the mistaken identity fiasco was truly the problem as TRLK suggests, it doesn't really add up. I have thought about this and recall that they reported that the identity problem was with Tradelink Bahamas, Ltd., but I don't think that this company is even publicly traded. Don't you think stockholders would know the NAME of the a company that they were invested in? And, aslo since this company isn't even publicly traded (if i am correct), where would stockholders obtain news about this company? and why would they?
I have spoken to one person at TRLK, I believe she was the receptionist but told me she could also help me with some of my questions. I asked here about the mistaken identity issue and she said that they really weren't sure. When I pressed as to why then do they think their stock price dropped, she told me I would need to speak with Judy Jarvis who is a V.P. and handles IR for TRLK. Well I have tried to speak with her repeatedly to no avail. I have even left my phone number but am still waiting for a reply. I live in the area and may try to get down there and give TRLK a visit one of these days...Something is definitely not right with this company.I'm just not sure what it is.
As far as the b/a prices go,I have found that with a lot of OTC stocks, especially those with low volume, there is usually a large gap between the bid and ask. The MM keeps the bid price low so he can pick up your shares cheap and keeps the ask much higher for those trying to buy. I suppose he has to in order to make it worth his while because he not making much on the volume side...When the volume picks up the spread should tighten, but it will need to pick up a lot.
Once again, these are just my opinions. I really would like to hear from anyone who might have some idea of what is going on. Thx...J |
