Glad to post when I see a bunch of misinformation flying. Just can't spend much time here. On momentum, what I see at companies across the nation is that the remaining barriers to NT are primarily political. The Cheryl's and Toy's of the world built their careers on competing platforms and are defending their turf. Irrespective of whether that is the right decision for the company or their customers as the case may be. In technology as in politics, it's the pocketbook issues that prompt the most emotion, derision, backlash, etc. The Unix and Netware camps have also been polarized into application server and infrastructure server (NOS) marketplaces. While MSFT envelopes the Unix servers with NT infrastructure displacing NetWare and envelopes Netware servers with NT application servers displacing, reducing or slowing the growth of Unix Servers. In time, most companies will consolidate their technology bases to reduce life cycle costs and MSFT will be there as a primary or secondary supplier in most companies. The upside potential of this enterprise market is HUGE!!! Keithsha
