But then again, if everyone Believes hard enough, anything is possible. It's happened for two years now, so there's no reason it should stop now. Just because the $0.11 translates into a measly $15 million in profits, is no reason we shouldn't, oh, push this sucker up another 10-15 points tomorrow, right? What's a measly $2-3 billion more in market cap in such a Wonderful World?
No, ladies and gentlemen, this is not sour grapes; I haven't lost a penny, at least not lately. It's just a fascinating study of human behavior to me. "Field of Dreams Comes to Wall Street": that's what they'll call the made-for-tv movie about Yahoo!, the amazing little California company that convinced the world -- or better yet, let the world convince itself, that it was the Spiritual Leader of New World Economic Order.
