Jimbo, I've worked for Lockheed Martin, formerly General Dynamics for ten years. I have seen the waste of resources, money, people etc. for about that long. In that time, the execs salaries have sky rocketed. Is it beaten down? yes. Do I want it to go up? YOU bet. (My 401k depends partly on it).
Would I buy it on the open market? HELL NO.

P.S. Don't listen to people like me who hate (or love)the stock.
Buy on the fundamentals.
