PSDI Elects David Sample Chairman Of The Board Of Directors

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of
Project Software & Development, Inc. (Nasdaq: PSDI), a leading provider of
maintenance management software, announced today they have elected David M.
Sample chairman of the board of directors effective immediately. Sample began
serving in his new role as chairman of the board, president and CEO today.
Dean Goodermote, former PSDI chairman of the board, remains a director.
Sample joined PSDI after 11 years with Hyperion Software Corp.
(Nasdaq: HYSW) of Stamford, Conn. where he most recently served as senior vice
president of international operations and North American sales. Sample helped
grow Hyperion to $173 million in fiscal 1996, achieving the number one ranking
worldwide from International Data Corp. in budgeting software revenue and
number three worldwide in client/server accounting software revenue.
